This was a wonderful aspiring book, giving hope to all disabled people, and pretty good lesson about living, giving and loving without becoming pathetic or sentimental!

This is the story of Kelly a young woman physically disabled and her experience about finding her place in the world. She’s a promising jewelry designer and a badass at her work!
She nailed at it and she’s passionate about becoming a well know designer. But with her condition (she had cerebral palsy), people used her or even make fun at her, it was kind of overwhelming sometimes.
With all those hardships in her way to be recognized as designer, she managed this with class, and her zest for life helped her going though this.
She was a fighter and had some great friends to support her. She was especially the rock of this group.

She was so selfless and being there for the ones she loved. It was  a very interesting way to tell us that disability wasn’t an end to itself. But being in that situation seemed very expensive and unfortunately, for those who were severely disabled,  they had to be financially strong to take care of themselves.
Despite all those aspects that you could predict, it was a beautiful act of compassion and true disinterest on Kelly’s behavior. She didn’t do that for her benefit, but for seeing someone happy, because she could help that person.

Writing this story through Kelly’s POV was at the time very serious in the way to talk about disabled people but at the same time very enjoyable to read. It was very relevant about living with a disability. This story is definitely not about what people with that condition couldn’t do but the way they made to succeed in their lives.
Just one weak spot and that’s why I couldn’t gave the story 5 stars, was that I felt that Kelly’s adventures were unfinished. I wish I could read more about her.
