The End of Feeling was a very emotional and very though read , with a straightforwardness which could surprise you (in a good way).
The Journey of Charlie and Benjamin wasn't easy. There was some darkness about those two young people who endured a lot through their lives, more than an average teen should.

Charlie moved to live with her aunt. All her Life, she had to be responsable for her mother, being the adult. The roles were reversed. She was so selfless, taking care for her family. Changing their routine and living with her Aunt was very hard for her. Her aunt didn't seem invested as much as she was with her mother, and her new neighbor tried to bully her. So she had a lot on her plate right now and Benjamin wasn't welcome in the picture. But even with his bad boy aura, his anger and casualness, she felt kind of connected, even if she wouldn't.

Benjamin, was the popular Guy in school, taking whatever he wanted when he wanted. But behind his bad behavior and complete asshole when it came to girls, he noticed Charlie, and his reaction was to bully her, make her scared, but it wouldn't work. His social life was a pure facade and behind closed doors at home, he was living a nightmare, becoming an adult too soon as Charlie.
No one suspected the kind of life he had to put up with. He built a lot of walls, trying to control his life as much as he could, until Charlie.

These two ones were more alike like they thought. They were so similar inside and went through so much pain, they were enduring too much and being the one to be in charge was very tough for them, so that finding someone you could rely could be a release.
They were like having a double Life: the day: teenagers; releasing the pression to be constantly being responsable for everyone and outside school the heavy weight, pressure to take care of their family.

It was a moving and poignant story, picturing two young people wanted to find happiness, and even if you thought that your heart was frozen or like you were acknowledging being alone all your life because you had so heavy luggages, showed that life wasn't easy but when you'll give a try and you find your person; you had to fought for it, and let people into your life.
So if you're looking for a deep, emotional read, this one is for you!
