Review Tour : Wild Reckless by Ginger Scott

HTML:

WILD RECKLESS
Very Mature YA Contemporary Romance
Scheduled to release: March 17, 2015
BLURB:
Kensington Worth had a vision for her senior year. It involved her best friends, her posh private school in downtown Chicago and time alone with her piano until her audition was perfected, a guaranteed ticket into the best music programs in the world.
Instead, a nightmare took over.
It didn’t happen all at once, but her life unraveled quickly—a tiny thread that evil somehow kept pulling until everything precious was taken from her. She was suddenly living miles away from her old life, trapped in an existence she didn’t choose—one determined to destroy her from the inside, leaving only hate and anger behind. It didn’t help that her neighbor, the one whose eyes held danger, was enjoying every second of her fall.
Owen Harper was trouble, his heart wild and his past the kind that’s spoken about in whispers. And somehow, his path was always intertwined with Kensington’s, every interaction crushing her, ruining her hope for any future better than her now. Sometimes, though, what everyone warns is trouble, is exactly what the heart needs. Owen Harper was consumed with darkness, and it held onto his soul for years. When Kensington looked at him, she saw a boy who’d gotten good at taking others down when they threatened his carefully balanced life. But the more she looked, the more she saw other things too—good things…things to admire.
Things…to love. Things that made her want to be reckless.
And those things…they were the scariest of all.

Wild Reckless is a powerful, strong, moving story which leaves its marks.
From the beginning, we can see how intense this story is gonna be.
The feeling of riding a roller coaster with ups and downs. You didn’t start slowly, you’re instantly caught up into a whirlwind of emotions, letting your heart beating through the rhythm of the story.

Kensington is the new girl in town, used to live in the city, music lover, caring about the ones she loves, strong personality and standing up against bullies. Her past school helped her to be tough.
But when she met Owen, her neighbor, all the walls were crushing down and let just say that all he emanated from was fear, intimidation.

Owen is the bad boy, with a family rejected by everyone. The Harper Family was well known in town because of a tragedy. He lived on his own terms and didn’t gave a shit about what people think about him and his family. His encounter with Kensington was the trigger into his shitty life. Instead of being nice, he acted like he used to; like a total ass, turning his anger and frustration to her. He knew how pushed Kensington’s buttons.

Both of them were having issues but Owen definitely went through a lot for his young age, experiencing things that he shouldn’t, having more responsibilities than an adult. Despite his confident, asshat attitude, was hiding a scared boy who was enduring too much and the only solution was to be strong, harder than the teenagers of his school.
The character’s psychology were very well developed, making these two very real, like we could sense all their feelings, expectations, fears, pain, scars.

The evolution of their relationship was very intense, addictive, like they were breathing the same air, Owen noticed her and saw through her, like he could read her soul. Kensington was caught up into him, and even what people thought about him, rumors about his family and his past, she was always there for him as he were for her. There was a passionate romance, alternating sweet moments, tough and hard ones. They both woke up in themselves deep feelings buried inside, like an electroshock. The music part really got me and I could felt the passion that emanated from Kensington and how Owen was challenging her.

I had to stop my review because I would gave some spoiler. Just read this wonderful story and get ready to get caught into a roller coaster of emotions. Ginger Scott succeeded to write such an emotion book which gonna rip you out, straight to the point and to the heart.
I was already a fan of her stories but now she definitely rocked the boat, we could sense that she put more than her heart into this story but her soul. I could sense that this one is her favorite. Her latest books were amazing but this one was just breathtaking!
As I said before, keep telling us stories Ginger! I want more! So thank you for sharing that with us!
