Review : Beautiful Beloved (Beautiful Bastard #3.6) by Christina Lauren

51oru7Yl8XL

The seventh work in the New York Times and #1 internationally bestselling series that started with the Beautiful Bastard, Beautiful Stranger, and Beautiful Player novels. Featuring all the Beautiful characters...plus one tiny new addition to the group.

In Beautiful Stranger , finance whiz Sara Dillon met the irresistibly sexy Brit, Max Stella, at a New York City club. Through the series we’ve watched them learn to balance commitment with their less than private brand of playfulness. In Beautiful Beloved, Max and Sara take it to the next step. But the question is: Will they be able to find a balance between the wild sexcapades they aren’t ready to retire, and the demands of parenthood that come along with their new Beautiful bundle of joy? Parenthood: it’s not for the weak of heart.

My review :

The Beautiful Bastard series is for me, a classic, I was addicted since I’ve met Chloe and Bennett and I’ve devoured all the books.

This time we had a glimpse of Sara and Max’s journey after the birth of their beloved daughter, Anna.
And everything wasn’t perfect and they had to adjust to this new life, to adapt living at three instead of the two of them.
They were happy taking things to a next step but the lack of sleep, time for themselves, work, reminded them that everything wouldn’t be like they used to be. Our sensitive Max, was putting things under perspective and being in this side, were the baby was constantly needing her mother, could be hard for a father. So he was there anytime she needed him, every moment he spent with them proved

I really loved how they tried to have moments on their own, far from the baby or being interrupted. That’s how I loved Christina Lauren’s writing, they could put some hilarious moments alternating with very, very, sexy and steamy ones, which definitely made you blush!! (Sara and Max were still hot for each other and let’s said that they could ignite any room).

I enjoyed seeing their life as a family and that they were always a team, his unconditional love for Sara and Anna. His insecurities, desire to be the best husband and father were very touching.
Sara had a fusional relationship with her daughter and being apart from her was be difficult. But damn, seeing Max through Sara’s eyes was a pure blast, the years didn’t alter her love for him, but increasing, and yes each time she looked at him she was just lusting and swooning over him! (but who doesn’t!)
So thanks ladies, I loved it and you nailed it for the next one about an other Stella man! Can’t wait!
